    Mr Kenan Dehne is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with passion to help patients with hips and knee injuries and arthritis.

    2. He is an expert in total Hip replacement, Total Knee Replacement, Unicompartmental Knee replacement and Reconstruction of the ACL ( anterior cruciate ligament)
    3. He has developed Techniques to improve patients recovery following joint replacement surgery using Fast Recovery principals.
    4. He is a Visiting Teaching Fellow at Aston University in Birmingham, where he pursues his research work on process innovation in healthcare.

He developed particular interest in treating arthritic and sport conditions affecting the Hip and the Knee joints Using holistic approach with pioneering non-operative (without surgery) and operative approach.  He is an expert in and a leader in the field of fast recovery following joint replacement Surgery and in knee ligament reconstruction surgery.

    Mr Dehne is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in orthopaedics and a fellow of the European Board of orthopaedics and Traumatology. He is Fellowship trained in Hip and Knee surgery.  He  has developed a large practice of joint replacement surgery with a very good record of patients outcome and safety. His lifetime passion has been the improvement of patients results and satisfaction following Hip and Knee replacement surgery with the fast recovery programme.

Research interests

Mr Dehne is a visiting fellow at Aston University. His research interests focuses on improving patient care and recovery after surgery, he regularly attends local and international meetings and is an active member of the British Orthopaedic Association. Research interests included fast recovery in joint replacement surgery, improving surgical outcome through improvement in patient’s journey, meniscal repair and knee preservation.
